About Us

The IMC USA-MI chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA) is composed of individual consultants from various disciplines, engaged in providing strategic consulting services to their clients. 

If you are a management consultant active in the Michigan area, we invite you to participate in our events initially as a guest, and then to join with local professional consultants who are benefiting in their practice through professional membership in IMC USA.  Please check out our membership options page.

Certification

The IMC USA confers the Certified Management Consultant (CMC^®) designation to those of its members who have successfully completed the Institute’s certification process.  This process includes specialized study courses, work experience, and professional examination.  Many of our members have completed this process and thereby represent the highest standards of consulting and adherence to the ethical canons of the profession.  IMC USA also requires its members to abide by a strict Code of Ethics.

Finding a Michigan Consultant

If you are a business firm in need of consulting services, feel free to select the Find a MI Consultant menu item on the left and enter “Michigan” in the IMC Chapter Search by Location drop-down menu at the center of the form.  Click the “Search” button at the bottom of the form and you will be provided with a listing of current Michigan consultant members.

Governance

The IMC USA-MI chapter is dedicated to continual professional development of our member consultants and requires its members to abide by the IMC MI chapter by-laws (Adopted December 1999 (PDF), Appendix 1 (PDF), Appendix 2 (PDF)).
